For the first time, the physics show from the University of Bonn is presenting its unique physics show musical PLANETAMOS in the Ruhr region. In a humorous show with demonstration experiments, music and live singing, the student group shows what makes life on a planet possible and protects it.

The show will be performed on Thursday, 27 March at 7:00 p.m. in the Wolfgang-Paul lecture hall in Bonn. The physics show will then visit the University of Bochum and perform three more shows on 29 March at 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm, as well as on 30 March at 10:30 am in the IAFO lecture hall HIA (Universitätsstraße 150, 44801 Bochum).

Free and binding registration is required to attend.

Admission begins half an hour before the performance, with the remaining seats being released 10 minutes before the start. The show lasts around two hours with an interval and is recommended for children aged 12 and over as well as adults. No previous knowledge of physics is necessary.

It’s a matter of life and death. The physics show musical is set in the galactic planet store PLANETAMOS. Here, Life personally orders a flourishing planet. When his wife, Death, enters the planet store, the sales team really start to sweat. They use experiments to illustrate how planets are formed, how solar eclipses and seasons come about, what a global magnetic field is good for and how the greenhouse effect works. The result is a planet worth living on – or a Death Star.

To the registration.
