The internationally successful particle physics show “What's (the) matter?” will be performed in Bonn on September 14 and September 15! With magical umbrellas, the two main characters go on a journey through space and time: from the structure of atoms to particle accelerators and the detection of the Higgs particle.

In two entertaining hours, the show follows the two main characters as they embark on a journey through time and space to experience the most important stages of fascinating particle physics.

The show has already been performed in the UK, Denmark and Spain, among others, and will also travel to Ljubljana, Slovenia and Trieste, Italy this fall.

The explanations of the experiments are suitable for children aged 14 and over, but younger children usually also have a lot of fun during the show! The show will be performed in English!

The performances will take place on Saturday, September 14 at 11:00 am and on Sunday, September 15 at 11:00 am in the Wolfgang-Paul-Hörsaal in Bonn. As the number of seats is limited due to the size of the auditorium, please register in advance.
