On January 23, 2025 at 16:00, the next particle café for interested pupils and students will take place in Bonn. This time you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with Dr. Slavomira Stefkova in a cozy atmosphere with coffee and cake.
For her PhD at Imperial College in London and CERN in Geneva, Slavomira Stefkova analyzed data from the LHCb experiment and studied B+ decays in muons. She then took up a DESY fellowship in Hamburg in 2018 and moved to the Belle II experiment in Japan. After another postdoc in Karlsruhe, she has been a substitute professor at the University of Bonn since summer 2024 and her research interests include B-meson decays in kaons and missing energy at the Belle II experiment in Japan.
Like last time, you can ask Dr. Stefkova anything that is on your mind - be it about her work, studies, physics or other topics. It is also a good opportunity to get to know the “Particle World” network and to network more closely with each other!
The meeting will take place in the presentation room (0.052) of the Research and Technology Center Detector Physics (FTD) of the University of Bonn.
