Insight into particle physics: pupils analyze LHCb data and explore laboratories at the University of Bonn
On January 22, students from the upper secondary school of the Gymnasium Hennef-Meiersheide received exciting insights into experimental particle physics and current research at the LHCb experiment at the Research and Technology Center Detector Physics. The masterclass, organized by Prof. Sebastian Neubert's working group, offered lectures, an in-house data analysis, laboratory tours and a joint visit to the cafeteria and was carried out in cooperation with Netzwerk Teilchenwelt and the student laboratory at the University of Bonn.
