In addition to applications during the first year of the Master's program, applications from the Bachelor's program are also welcome and recommended if the start of the Master's program is foreseeable for the winter term 2025/26.
In accordance with the will of the donors Franz Wilhelm Jasbinsek and Lore Elisabeth Kunkelmann, a special interest in communicating science to young people is expected in addition to academic achievements, e.g. as part of the teacher training program, through participation in teaching or similar.

- Letter of support from a lecturer
- Nomination of a faculty member for another report where necessary
